To promote the upcoming IBM TechXchange conference, we wanted to celebrate IBM’s rich legacy of innovation in range of sectors — including space exploration, healthcare, sustainability. For this project, I helped to refine the script and proposed corresponding visuals, assisted in organizing and curating archival footage, selected the music + VO talent, and provided oversight throughout the edit.
Both Myriad and IBM were incredibly proud of this piece, and recruited us the following year for another promo! -

Myriad was tasked with creating a Monty-Python-esque explainer video, shot in a historic castle a few hours from the office. We worked with the client to hone in on the production and wardrobe design, then ran off to the races to bring the vision to life. Sourcing medieval-style furniture and props proved quite the challenge, requiring multiple freelancers to help with the search and transportation. We had the privilege of working with a talented costumer on this project, who perfectly executed the initial art direction. This project won a Bronze Addy Award for Best Internet Commercial.

To kick off the launch of a new IBM Z server, Centerline produced a live-streamed broadcast in the vein of a late-night variety show. Though the final set looks quite minimal, there was an incredible amount of work that went into turning a dingy theater into an elegant, modern set. The Centerline team designed the vision for the entirety of the set — including the furniture, lighting, props, and stage layout — and then managed vendors for select elements. The labor is all in the details for this one: finding the appropriate easy-install flooring, determining exact measurements for each piece of plexiglass to cover the riser platforms, continuously cleaning the plexiglass to ensure it stayed spotless, and purchasing the correct hardware to install the IBM Z sign.
